Christians & COVID-19 The crisis we find ourselves in today, as Christian, we certainly need to be doing more.   Doing more, indeed, as you may come to understand in the subsequent “Could it Be” scenarios which are from scripture and address the American Christian and our present crisis as a Christian. Could it be,   Okay, mini-sermons, (if there is such a thing), however, the purpose of this article is to get the Christian as well as the nonbeliever to renew an intimate love relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ, renewal for the Christian, if indeed, they were actually born-again Christians in the first place.   For the nonbeliever, it is simple, a simple warning across the bow of life as you have been able to live it in a nation set apart for Christians. God warned the Hebrews in Egypt of the coming tenth plague, the plague of the death of the first-born, and should you read Exodus chapters 11-13, you will see the warning and the shield of survival or secur

Messages of Revelation

The Loveless Church We come to the First Church in the list of Seven, (Rev. 2:1 – 7), However, if you recall some of the introduction in chapter one, it is the Lord Jesus’ revelation to His servant John and in verse three, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” So, what does “is near” mean?   Well God knew just how long it would take Christianity to run its faithful and committed course and He didn’t make me or anyone privy to how long it would actually be until the end of its age and sufferings, of its persecution.   We do know that Jesus will come in the clouds and those who sleep in the Lord will rise first, then those of us who are still struggling along, will meet them in the air, in a twinkling of an eye.   That will be the close of the church age, when Christ collects His church. Chapter two verse l: -- 7: “To the angel of the church of Ephesus wr

Finding the Truth

Finding the Truth While rewriting the introduction to my book, I started the morning by looking at headlines in my emails which in most part was simply reruns of liberal fake news, and the conservative habit of helping the liberal’s distribution of their propaganda.   We fail to research who actually wrote the story, that is when they actually ascribe their name and date to it.   We fail to do the proper research for the truth. We, at times, simply trust in sources that we have followed because they posted a story that was pro-conservative or pro-patriotic, and are not what they make themselves out to be.   We need to research who made the original post, and get to know the credibility of truth, otherwise we are simply and blindly falling victim to a liberal scheme to distribute bits and pieces of propaganda.   Infiltration of our ranks is rampant and very effective. Research is a necessity of finding the truth.   Otherwise we only have a subjective truth which may

CORRUPT NATION --- CORRUPT CHURCH

It’s Time To Make the Church Great Again! Some backbone needed! … Apply at the Cross of Jesus. As I go through the email each day, I have started to eliminate 95% of it, because the election is over and the people have chosen President Elect Donald Trump.   Nonetheless, the Mainstream Media (including Fox, Townhall, and the almost forgotten Blaze of the GB network), simply have the conservative Social Media, in most part simply going over the manufactured news, time and time again, and the more it goes forward the more fake it becomes.   People need to simply see that liberal socialism is in serious trouble in the nation, and just make a stand for making America great again, then simply commit to boycott the organizations and business’ that keep this crap alive.   If you do not react to their mindless stupidity, their evil values.   Stop watching the liberal BS on TV they will not win. For conservative fundamental Christians, we absolutely must drop the anxieties of the world

DALLAS MOURNS

GOD BLESS THOSE WHO MOURN… I begin, with a sincere, heartfelt condolence to the families, loved ones, and friends of the fallen Dallas policemen, who sacrificed their lives that the community of Dallas would be safe.  I will spend time in prayer for you the families and loved ones who are morning your personal loss.  I pray not for their behalf, but for yours, your comfort, and peace to come over you as you grieve with a broken heart.  You are the personal side of the character of our law enforcement officers, and as such, deserving of our prayers, I am part of the mass who are effected by the tragic loss of such selfless public servants. Recognizing the vast differences in the essence of our loss, makes it my Christian obligation, and my civic duty, to join you in the mourning and prayers during this time, fitting to remember our servant heroes, and to honor them in memorial.  I thank them for their service, and know that the community of Dallas will be far, far, les

My Upcoming Book

In The World – Not – Of The World The priestly prayer of Jesus as we read it in John. 17: 1–26, however, verses 14—26, tell the story of what is meant by in the world but not in the world. John 17Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV) 17 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2  as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4  I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5  And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. 6  I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy

What We Learn From The Wise Men ... part 2

Image
BY: R.S. Helms T he Story of the Wise Men, the Magi who traveled from the East, guided by a star, seeking the new born king of Israel, is a part of the Christmas story that has a variety of meaningful applications, just as the part of the Shepherds tending their flocks, and the story would not be complete without all the parts, it is sort of like a four-part play, being played on the stage of the world. Nonetheless, we have Wise men, who knew of the prophecies of the Israelites, and more so the prophecies concerning their coming king.   They searched the heavens for a sign, then, behold… a star appeared.   One that they had never seen before, and strangely far brighter than all the others.   Guess it was one of those “WOW!” moments that happen from time to time.   The gospel of Matthew records this story as follows: Matthew. 2:1-12 1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 s
