Happy New Year to You All.
As I sit in my living room listening to the insufferable
sound of exploding fireworks a few doors away, wondering why it is, at the
oncoming of a holiday, (don’t make a difference which one), some yahoos have to
start several days early, and have their grand-finale on the eve of the
holiday? I don’t know the answer,
however, I do know that it is something I don’t look forward to, with the
approaching holiday.
Christmas of course is history, I had a wonderful Christmas
and hope that all of you had a good one as well. I don’t look forward to the New Year, as
there does not seem to be nothing exciting happening in 2012. Some things will improve because it is an
election year, and the present administration will do what ever it takes, to
make us think things are getting better, however, the opponents will attempt to
counter with their own ideology for their benefit. What may appear on the surface to be a good
thing, in truth, it is seldom what it seems.
Some of these rascals will do anything to win, and it has already begun.
This year promises to have one of the most negative bloodletting
campaigns in the history of politics.
One of the events of the upcoming political battle, will be the
demonizing of the American people, our way of life, and our faith. Presently, demonizing of the Evangelical
Christians is the aim of the demonizing efforts. Demonizing
of Christianity surely gathered up the weakest of the Christian denominations
as far as surrendering to the attacks and fleeing the bulwarks of the Word of
God, its doctrines and precepts of a godly society or culture. Now, with a president that is, (at best), a
liberation theology follower, it will be no holds barred against the Christian
evangelicals, and the demonizing will eventually include all denominations. All the politically correctness of the past
three years has left the churches with
some empty pews as the average person, Christian or not, does not like to be
called names, even when the name may actually be a compliment to a well
grounded proud to be Christian!
The “race card” will continue to be used, perhaps with a new
degree of ugliness; however, remember the ones who are using it are more of a
racist than those they target unless of course, you belong to the KKK, or some
other white supremacist organization. Of
course the ones that have overworked the race issue are stuck in their own
mire, and are continuing to make things worse instead of better.
Poverty, has become a real hard issue of late, and the class
warfare, share the wealth, ideology of this administration. That is why, in my studied opinion and
experience the politicians, civil rights activists, and others have used lies
and false promises to keep the poverty rate high, when there is those who are
truly impoverished that don’t get the help to survive let alone move out of the
situation.
As the year moves along, I will be writing about most of
these things. I have one book almost
ready, which will address and expose most of the issues as fraudulent, and the
ones who work hard to keep it like it has always been, it keeps their coffers
full.
So all in all, I think that this might be an interesting
year, however, not anything to get excited about; on a personal plane, perhaps.
All this just to wish all of you a Happy New Year, and it
will be so if we all get a little closer to God. In today’s environment (social), the church
of your choice may be the only place to find peace, providing of course that the
church is soundly Christian. I know no
other source except Christ, that will give us peace and rest for our weary
heads. What you doing this Sunday?
P.B.
